At El Centro we offer general academic advising to support students navigate the various academic and institutional structures, challenges, and barriers they might face in their undergraduate journey. Our goal is to help students understand the various academic policies and how they impact their academic experience through a culturally informed asset based academic advising approach. We seek to empower students to develop autonomous decision-making that leads to their academic success.
